Nasya

Nasya karma is an important panchakarma procedure where the medicaments are administered through nasal route. It is mainly indicated for diseases of head (jathrurdhwa rogas). It is the only procedure which can directly influence the indriyas due to the better chance of absorption. The therapeutic goals of nasya include purification, nourishment, stimulation and strengthening. It is highly beneficial in ophthalmic diseases, ENT diseases, diseases of neck, psychiatric diseases etc.
